Because these fucking spoiler GIFs are about the most effective anti-DVR measure I can imagine.
I agree this is incredibly lame so this is in NO WAY an endorsement of gifs but isn’t it far easier for 1 person who doesn’t want to be spoiled to stay off Tumblr for a day then to…
I’ve been thinking about this for 30 seconds and Cory is right. Mike, your reaction was my first reaction as well, but imagine what that would entail, think about the implications. Somebody wants to shit in the street. You say no don’t shit in the street. They say if you don’t want to walk down a shitty street don’t walk down this street. Good point you say. So you decide not to walk down the shitty street. But your job was down that street. All your friends are down that street. Part of your job is actually to walk down that specific street. I guess what I’m trying to say is that if after all these years of a nonsensical, ridiculous format The Office finally calls it out by showing the goddamn camera crew, let your friends know by saying “hey that show you dont watch because its terrible actually took an interesting turn last night you should go check it out” and not by posting a big dumb gif of it, JOSEPH FUCKING STANTON.
